The Japanese Police is utilizing a customized version of the Toyota Land Cruiser, specifically adapted for their operations.

The J100 series vehicle serves as a patrol car in Saga Prefecture, on the island of Kyushu, one of Japan’s main islands, located in the extreme southwest of the country.

The Land Cruiser displays the characteristic black and white color scheme of Japanese patrol vehicles and features internal modifications such as a standard police radio system, controls for sirens and lights, and a fire extinguisher next to the passenger seat.

Distinctive features include a chrysanthemum emblem representing the Imperial Seal of Japan and practical items such as a machete for cutting branches and folding tables on the rear seats.

These police cars are considered relatively rare in Japan, and this one will continue to serve in tourist areas throughout the year. Toyota highlights the efficiency of the model in meeting the specific needs of the Japanese police, standing out as a practical and reliable choice for their operations.
